About a Boy
There was once a boy named Eric.
He was the second of four children to a merchant and a teacher.
In the afternoons, he would wait for the old lady, that sells noodle soup from a push cart, to make her rounds in his neighbourhood.
As she takes off her straw hat to work frantically from the mounting orders, he wondered if he should put the hat maker’s weaving to the test - the ability to...

The Compound Interest
I love it when I’m outdoors being productive on the weekends in contrast to the occasional sitting in front of the laptop, browsing through iTunes movie trailers and photography blogs.
A well spent, cultured Saturday that started with heading to the Broadsheet Cafe for a caffeine fix. The collaborative project featured Melbourne’s six coffee connoissieurs: Five Senses, Dead Man...

And then just two minutes later, I drove past another van with a sticker on the back window which says I ❤ Punani.
I chuckled to myself and pondered on the oddity of my 9 am...
strawberry fields forever
A wonderful day of harvesting bucketloads of cherries; browsing through home furnishings, as we momentarily weave our idyllic homes to a fraction of Life’s canvas whilst growing appetites for adventure and great pastries.
resolution #23: go on more road trips. I can’t wait to go back home in June and embark on the ultimate getaway to Le Indochine.

The perfect getaway gift to the Prom Country with one of my best friends, Valerie. (thank you!!) Sharing the same perspectives and desires in travel, I couldn’t have enjoyed the trip more. I love how we marvel at each other’s idiosyncrasies; our itch to get to know the locals, and the spontaneity of it all.

the end of a decade
The tenth year since the millennium was indeed the best year of my life to date. I suppose the notion was cultivated from the desire to never lose the sense of awe and always having gratitude - to God for His provision (financially, socially, spiritually, academically) and to bring Him glory through it all.
Indifference hampers conviction and breeds cynicsm.
